'The Fall Guy' David Leitch's new action thriller movie stars Ryan Goslin and Emily Blunt. And one have plenty to look forward to. Ryan Goslin played the role of Colt Seavers who is a stunt actor and who has to apply his skills to life outside the movies when an A-list actor goes missing. Emily Blunt played the role of Cult Seavers former lover who happens to be the director of the massive blockbuster for which Colt is hired to work on. Goslin has plenty of experience as an action star from movies like Drive and Blade Runner 2049 and Blunt has Edge of Tomorrow and Sicario to her credit. So, it's a brilliant pairing and Leitch is the ideal director for fast-paced, fun action.

A successful TV show of 1980s is the base of Leitch's version of The Fall Guy. It deffer's from the original TV show but, it's still about a stunt actor's journey to a wild adventure. Ryan Goslin has often combined humor and action, so he could be the ideal leading mac for Leitch and he has also worked with Brad Pitt and Ryan Raynolds in similar roles. The Fall Guy has released by Universal Pictures on May 3rd, 2024. With $74.1 million domestically, The Fall Guy fell flat at the international box office. Adding only $71.7 million from foreign markets to a total of $145.9 million. The movie's title has multiple meanings so there's no point of guessing the story line. It's cleverly written, wickedly funny, and widely entertaining and it also gives the audiences a glaring reason why there should be an Oscar category for stunts. Although Ryan Goslin and Emily Blunt haven't worked together before but, they have the potential for a great dynamic. Goslin's fan will be hoping he can replicate the kind of chemistry he shared with Emma Stone in La La land and luckily Blunt has show the talent to strike up a winning duo with many leading men throughout her career. After the massive box office success of Barbie and Oppenheimer in 2023, Ryan Goslin and Emily Blunt teamed up for 'The Fall Guy'.

02. Leitch's Action Direction

Leitch worked as a stunt actor and coordinator for 20 years and he performed stunts in huge hits like Fight Club, V for Vendetta and The Jason Bourne movies. Atomic Blonde, Bullet Train and Deadpool 2 are some of the most gripping action thrillers of the past given to audiences by Director David Leitch. But, The Fall Guy is more personal project in some ways as Leitch knows exactly how it feels like to risk his safety to perform stunts for the biggest actors in the world.

There are cars flipping over in the desert, chase scenes through the streets of Sydney and Colt leaping toward a helicopter in midair. The practical stunts in The Fall Guy required 120 people working together. The movies dedication to practical effects could be a refreshing change of pace, with so many modern blockbusters choosing to use CGI wherever possible. As well as a number of punchy fight scenes are shown in the movie. One scene in a nightclub seems to reference of two of David's earlier movies Atomic Blonde and John Wick. Leitch is an accomplished martial artist and experienced in Muay Thai, Wrestling, Kickboxing and more and he has shown that he can translate these skills to his movies with ease.
